This policy explains what information Sawhorse (operated by Keiner & Co. LLC) collects, how we use it, and your choices.
The short version: Your uploaded content — your quotes, photos, pricing history, and your clients’ information — is yours. We use it only to run the Service for you, and we never use it, or your clients’ personal information, for advertising or marketing. Separately, we may use your own account and usage information (your name, email, how you use Sawhorse) to operate the product and to market Sawhorse to you and to audiences like you — and you can opt out (see “Marketing” below).
1. Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email, and login, via our authentication provider (Clerk).
- Billing information — handled by Stripe; we receive subscription status and limited details, not your full card number.
- Your Content — the quotes, photos, pricing history, scopes, and any client information you upload or create in Sawhorse.
- Usage data — how you interact with the app (pages, features, events) and basic device/log data, via our analytics provider (PostHog).
- Communications — emails and messages you send us.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- To process your content through our AI providers to generate quotes and renderings (see §4).
- To handle billing, support, and account notifications.
- For marketing — as described next, using your account/usage data only (never Your Content).
3. Marketing & your choices
We may use your account and usage information (such as your name, email, and how you use Sawhorse) to:
- Email you product news, tips, offers, and other Sawhorse marketing. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link — you can opt out anytime, and we’ll still send essential account and billing messages.
- Publish aggregated, de-identified insights (e.g., “contractors quote faster with Sawhorse”) and, with your permission, testimonials. These never identify you or your clients individually.
- Reach similar audiences. We may share your contact information (such as your email) with advertising platforms (e.g., Google, Meta) to show ads and build “lookalike” audiences of businesses like yours. Under some U.S. state privacy laws this may be considered “sharing” or a “sale” of personal information.

not share Your Content or your clients’ personal information with advertisers — ever.
4. AI processing
To generate quotes and renderings, we send relevant content to our AI providers — Anthropic (Claude, for text) and Google (Gemini, for images). They process it to return results to us and, under their terms, do not use business/API content to train their models. We don’t use Your Content to train any models.
5. Service providers (sub-processors)
We share information with vendors who help us run Sawhorse, under contracts that limit their use of it:

6. Data retention & your rights
- We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations.
- You can export your data anytime from the app, and request deletion of your account and content by emailing us.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit use of your personal information, and to opt out of “sharing” for targeted advertising (see §3).
7. Security
We use reputable infrastructure and providers, encryption in transit, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and isolate each customer’s workspace from others.
8. Children
Sawhorse is for businesses and isn’t directed to anyone under 18. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be communicated in the app or by email. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
